When we named her 32 years ago, I had an on-going argument with Mam-ma about naming her Grace. That was Mam-ma's name and her Granny Money's name. We named her Cherise. Somewhere Mam-ma came up with a name book and couldn't wait to show me that her name means "Grace". We had named her "Grace" after all. Though it was a "day late" we did have a wonderful celebration. Happy birthday Reeser! And look who she has "graced" us with to join in on the celebration!

We ate at Harrigans and then had the traditional "cake spittin'" at Granddaddy's. As you can see the boys had their traditional good time.
Nana and Papa are here too, but Nana was taking the pictures and Papa was hiding. Robbie, Sherman and Blake also were at Harrigans with us for dinner.

And though this picture was taken back in August when they were here, I do want to share the birthday celebration with Jeff, whose birthday is October 10. See Cheryl's blog at gentlyled.blogspot.com to see her tribute to Jeff.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF

Looks like a good time! What a beautiful girl. So glad we got to visit today! I've got a birthday dinner to fix tonight...we're having cornflake chicken, rice a roni (from America!!!) cherry cheesecake and apple pie. He has also requested fried zuchini....can someone call Harrigans for me and see if they deliver?
