O.K. I know I'm still using Granddaddy's birthday pictures. We forget to take the camera and take up to date pics, but I can give up to date information. Granddaddy goes in the Royal Estates bus every morning to get his IV antibiotic treatment. The family takes him on Saturday and Sunday. Actually the family = Sherilyn and Pat. Pat soloed last week and Sherilyn will go help in the morning. Tuesday will be 2 weeks in this treatment. That's after 2 weeks on a high powered antibiotic pill, but it brought his platlate count down, so we had to start the IV treatment. Granddaddy has a pretty good attitude about it all. Sherilyn Pat and I went to a barbeque on Thursday night with him. We noticed that his cough was back. Pat and Tommy had to take him to the ER today because it had gotten worse. He didn't have pneumonia, but the Dr said it was headed there. So he was put on another antibiotic to break up the infection in his lungs. I just read the blogs of my two daughters and both were bemoaning the fact that it had been awhile since they had posted and realized it had been equally as long or longer since I had.
We went to Odessa today to get haircuts. Cason had a soccer game so we got there in time for that. After lunch at Jason's Deli and I got the oil changed in my truck and got it inspected, we watered a little over at Granddaddy's house (soon to be the Procters) then went to Donita's shop and got haircuts. Then to Sonic for a cherry diet coke and diet DP and to Rosa's to get take out to bring back home. We've gotten into a habit of doing that lately. The soccer game reminded me so much of the OCS team Cheryl played on when she was in kindergarten. It was plenty entertaining.
