Tribute to my 3 S(C)hers on Father's Day!

You three have made it a blessing to be called Dad. I love that name. And I love the fact that the three of you define the honor I feel.

Sherilyn, from our first date there was always that encouragement to be all the God could make me. As we planned our wedding, children were always in the plan. And my being a Christian father was not just suggested, but demanded by you. I thank God for you and your loving support that always made us a parenting team in nurturing our girls in the discipline and teaching of the Lord. You always put me on a pedestal and loved me unconditionally, even through times when I didn't act like I should.

Cheryl, from the first time you kicked me when you were still in the womb, I knew you would be a prime mover in my life. I was so proud to be your Dad. Through those early years of talking teenager when you were 2 through all your activities both at church and school, nothing gave me more pride than being recognized and respected by all your friends as your Dad. You, your sister and your Mom have made every day Father's Day by your love, support and friendship, and the lives you live modeling the love of Christ in all your endeavors. God has been so good to me, I thank God for you!

Cherise, you continue to be a blessing to me as do your sister and Mom. We share that kindred spirit, that "Money stubbornness", that "discomfort" with shopping...:-). You've always been able to accomplish things so quickly, and your friendship has meant the world to me......still does. Thank you for making me look like a better Daddy than I am. And thank you for cementing the "Axis of Love" in my life. I am truly "triplely blessed" by the three most beautiful ladies, inside and out, in the whole world.
